Salman stars for Lahore

LAHORE, June 28: The Regional Academy at Lahore ended at Gaddafi Stadium with a two-day match between Lahore and Faisalabad academies on Saturday.

Lahore Academy won the match by scoring 332 for eight in the allotted 80 overs in replying to Faisalabad’s 236, scored on Friday.

Salman Qadir was the main scorer for Lahore with a 110-ball 68,  laced  with seven boundaries. Adnan Akmal hit quickfire 58-ball 57, which included 11 fours.

Leg-spinner and skipper of Faisalabad Mansoor Amjad picked up four for 95. Pacers
