PESHAWAR, June 28: Four persons were killed and two others received injuries in different incidents in Swat district on Saturday.

According to police sources three persons died and one sustained injuries in a road accident near Khwaza Khela while a woman was killed and her daughter injured by unknown persons in tehsil Bari Kot.

An oil tanker (E 9994) ran over a rickshaw (Swat G 1019) in Gashkor village near Khwaza Khela killing three passengers Fazal Haq, Bilal and Wajid, son of Sultan Ali of village Aman Kot, while the fourth person Qaisar, son of Sultan Ali, received serious injuries.

The injured was rushed to Saidu Sharif hospital where his condition was stated to be critical. Driver of the oil tanker managed to escape from the scene. Khwaza Khela police has registered an FIR against the driver.

In another incident in Natta Mera, tehsil Barikot unidentified persons entered the house of Hashtamand and opened fire on the inhabitants of the house killing his wife and injuring his eight-year-old daughter.
