Indian envoy due in July
NEW DELHI, June 28: India’s new envoy to Pakistan Shiv Shankar Menon will reach Islamabad in mid-July while his Pakistani counterpart was expected in India on June 30, an Indian official said on Saturday.
Mr Menon, who is India’s ambassador to China, would be wrapping up his assignment there soon and will spend a few days in New Delhi for consultations before heading to Pakistan, the official said.—AFP
