Bridge contest starts today
KARACHI, June 26: The quarterly Super Marathon Bridge tournament will be held on Friday evening at Aslam Bridge Hall, National Stadium, Karachi under the auspices of Pakistan Bridge Federation (PBF).
National Team Allana will defend its title since they were the winner of the last championship held in March. Interested teams have been advised to register themselves before 5:30 p.m. before 5.30 p.m. on Friday, to avoid disappointment.
Entry fee will be Rs 500 per player. Any intending team can field upto 6 players, seven rounds of the Swiss matches will be played, two on Friday two on Saturday and three on Sunday.
Immediately after the conclusion of Marathon, PBF will hold 17th Episode of the Super Bowl series. It is being held in honour of famous Pakistani couple Shauq Hussain and Fehmina Shauq.
The KBA will also conduct another event, the Yousuf Dada Bridge tournament at Aslam Bridge Hall from July 4 to 6.—PPI
