TMA budget presented
SADIQABAD, June 26: Tehsil Nazim Mian Bashir Ahmad presented the council with the budget for the fiscal year 2003-04.
The budget envisaged an income of Rs173.86 million and expenditure to the tune of Rs173.43 million.
The 26 union councils of tehsil would get Rs800,000 each.
The budget meeting was presided over by Naib Nazim Sardar Habibur Rehman Khan Gopang.
Explaining the salient features of budget, the tehsil Nazim said that a sum of Rs20 million was being earmarked for the construction of Makhdoom Ahmad Mehmood auditorium.
Councillor Saeed Ahmad said the opposition had not been consulted for preparation of the budget. He alleged that members of the opposition were being victimized due to their affiliation with PML-N.
