KHAIRPUR: Man dies of snakebite

KHAIRPUR, June 26: A man was bitten by a snake on Tuesday night when he was sleeping near the Setharja-Loer link road in Sobhodero Taluka.

Abdullah Chandio was admitted to the Sobhodero government hospital where he died due to non-availability of ASV on Wednesday.

KILLED: A woman was killed and her husband injured in an attack in Sobhodero on Tuesday.

Some armed men entered the house of Anwar Ali Sehto and opened fire. As a result of which Gulan, wife of Anwar Ali died on the spot while her husband Anwar Ali received injuries and was admitted to a local hospital.

An old enmity was said to be the cause of the incident.

ASPHYXIATED: A man, M. Mithal, 32, was asphyxiated while spraying insecticide near village Mohammad Khan Islami.
