By Our Sports Reporter

ISLAMABAD, June 25: The Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF) has named former Davis Cup player Inamul Haq and Mahboob Khan as coaches for its under-16 camp starting in Islamabad from July 1.

A spokesman for the PTF said that Mahboob will be supervising the morning sessions while Inam along with Shah Mahmood who had been appointed the coach earlier will train the boys in the evening.

Mushaf Zia who was initially to coach the boys with Shah, withdrew because of personal commitments.

The spokesman said that three players from among Danish Ahmed, Yasir Khan, Amir Ali and Ali Abdullah would be picked for the camp from Karachi. Shahrukh Niazi, Omer Babar and Tanvir Niazi will come from Punjab and Usman Ijaz will represent Balochistan. NWFP have yet to nominate their players. The camp will also have at least three local boys.

The PTF will provide full boarding and lodging to the players.
