59pc pass SSC exams

QUETTA, June 24: Over 59 per cent of the candidates have passed the annual Secondary School Certificate examination of the Balochistan Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, according to the results announced on Tuesday.

BBISE Chairman Prof Fazal Bari informed a press conference that 30,562 candidates appeared in the examination of 10th class, of whom 15,290 were declared successful.

According to the gazette notification, Saeed Ahmed, roll No.4704 of the Balochistan Residential College, Turbat, got the first position with 745 marks and the second position went to Irfanullah, roll No.15647, of the Balochistan Residential College, Loralai, with 737 marks. Dost Mohammad, roll No.56098, of the Cadet College Mastung and Sadia Muzzafar, roll No.59669, of the Government Girls High School, Railway Colony, Quetta, shared the third position with 723 marks each.
