ISLAMABAD, June 21: Prime Minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali is likely to inaugurate the bus service between India and Pakistan any time soon, Federal Minister for Culture, Tourism, Sports, Minorities and Youth Affairs Raees Munir Ahmed said here Saturday.

Presiding over the 70th annual meeting of board of directors of the Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC), he said the prime minister was looking forward to normalization of relations between New Delhi and Islamabad.

He said the government was looking forward to new openings in tourism, culture and sports. He said the delegation sent to India came back with high hopes.

The ministry of tourism was seeking restoration of train and air links once the bus shuttle was re-launched.

He said the Samjohta Express was a major breakthrough, and the bus service will pave the way for exploring the potential in tourism, sports, culture, trade and business. —APP
