PESHAWAR: Five bandits arrested

PESHAWAR, June 18: The police arrested five robbers and recovered booty from their possession in Chamkani area on Wednesday.

According a press release, a house of Ibrahim, son of Atta Ullah Khan was burgled on the night between Monday and Tuesday.

He registered an FIR with Chamkani police station and nominated his servant Tariq Ali, son of Hamayun in the case.

Tariq was arrested soon after the FIR and during the investigation he confessed the crime and disclosed names of his accomplices.

On Wednesday, the police arrested Mujeeb-ur-Rehman and his brother Ilyas and Imran, Inayat and Gul and recovered the booty from them.—Bureau
