Turkish PM leaves

ISLAMABAD, June 17: Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan left Pakistan on Tuesday after a three-day state visit aimed at boosting trade and economic relations between the two Muslim countries, officials said.

Erdogan was seen off by foreign minister Khurshid Mahmud Kasuri and senior government officials at Chaklala air force base near Islamabad.

During his stay Erdogan held formal talks with Prime Minister Zafarullah Jamali and President Pervez Musharraf.—AFP
