Justice Munir to avail extension

ISLAMABAD, June 17: The Supreme Court on Tuesday said Justice Munir A. Sheikh, a puisne judge, will not retire on attaining the age of 65.

Justice Munir A. Sheikh has desired to clarify a news which says that he would not accept three-year extension under the LFO and termed it “baseless and false”, said the SC registrar.

It was reported that Justice Munir A. Sheikh will not avail the three-year extension and will go home on July 4, on attaining the age of superannuation.

Under the LFO, the SC judges will retire on attaining the age of 68.
