Dravid fails to save Scots

LONDON, June 16: Indian Test star Rahul Dravid hit a majestic century but even his 91-ball ton wasn’t enough to save Scotland from going down to a one-wicket defeat to Somerset in the National League on Sunday.

Dravid, playing in his third match for his new side, smashed a breathtaking 120 at Taunton to help his side to 296-4 off 50 overs with an innings which included three sixes and 11 fours.

However, the home side reached their target when last man Simon Francis hit a boundary with just five balls left.
