KARACHI, June 16: Zeco Sports, Baloch Youth, Young Malir, Young Shaheen, Young Muzaffarabad and Shahbaz Mohammeden defeated their opponents in matches of Zonal Football General League played here at different venues on Sunday.

At Gul Baloch Ground, Zaco Sports Malir defeated Sahibdar Sports 2-1. Zahid Nawaz and Habibullah scored goals from Zaco while Zamir Mohammed scored for the loser’s who took the lead in the first half.

At Mahfooz Stadium, Baloch Youth continued its winning streak overcoming Mahfooz Eleven 2-0 and moved upward in the points table. Ghulam Farooq scored both goals.

At Young Iqbal Ground Shahbaz Mohammeden defeated MES Malir Cantt. 2-0 while Young Malir edged out Baloch Boys by the same margin.

At Young Shaheen Stadium Young Shaheen downed Young Ailan Green 2-0 and Young Muzaffarabad routed Young Star 4-0.—PPI
