Hataf Sara tipped to score again
LAHORE, June 14: Bay mare Hataf Sara looks poised for a win to make it two in-a-row when she contests during the Lahore Gymkhana races at the Racecourse on Sunday.
Five-year-old Hataf Sara, a progeny of Hataf out-of-Sara Show is appearing in the sixth race, a class V division II event to be run over the sprinting distance of 1200m.
She had already won impressively over 1000m in the top division of class VII on June 1.
Although promoted in the upper class and the distance increased by 200m, Hataf Sara is in good form and should continue to perform in right vein.
Among her ten rivals Imagine Iff and Royal Class are notable contestants.
Another useful runner, Roan Love Moon, who is showing consistency in performance, will be going all out for a second successive win in the seventh race.
The way he won over 1200m on June 1 last, there seems hardly any chance of his losing the race. He should be followed by light-weight Morning Bird and in-and-out performers like Green Hill and Red Rock.
Three-year-old colt Strings, who ran a good race to register his maiden victory should emerge victorious again in the third race. Rocket, Mohni Road and Fifty Six Fifty Six should be his close rivals in a big field of 15 runners.
A card of eight races has been laid out for the afternoon. Three race will be contested over 1200 metres while the other five are to be run over 1000 metres. The first race will start at 2.30 pm.
