KARACHI, June 14: Pakistan is expected to have normal rainfall during coming monsoon season, from July to September, as El-Nino phenomenon, which normally suppress monsoon rains, in the country, are likely to remain neutral this year.

Pakistan Meteorological Department, in a study based on conditions prevailing over the country and certain other parts of the globe, has forecast a minimum 137.5mm rain fall from July to September, this year.

Due to normal rainfall, overall water availability in the country is also expected to be adequate, having significant impact on agriculture sector and water conservation.—APP
