STA picks 35 boys for camp

HYDERABAD, June 11: Sindh Tennis Association has selected 35 youngsters in the second phase of tennis coaching camp under Sindh School Programme which was launched by with Directorate of Sports (boys) University of Sindh Jamshoro. The programme is under way at Hyderabad gymkhana.

The players are from different schools and would be trained about the basics of tennis. They would be trained by senior ranking tennis player Abdul Majeed for three weeks. Under the advanced phase of programme 13-playrs are already getting training since June 1.

After the conclusion of the coaching camp, a junior open tennis championship would be organised in Hyderabad.
