KARACHI, June 11: The Board of Intermediate Education, Karachi, will start receiving applications from private candidates for issuance of certificates pertaining to the HSC exams held in the year 2000.

The BIE notification said that application forms would be available against payment of prescribed fee from bank branch at BIE. Applicants are required to submit admit cards and registration cards in original, attested photo copies of SSC certificate and HSC mark sheet.

Certificate will ordinarily be issued after 15 days from the date of submission of applications. The board has informed the candidates to collect the certificates personally by producing the receipt issued by the board at the time of submission of application and national identity card, while no authority letter shall be entertained for delivery of original certificate to anybody else other than the candidates, said the notification.

SCIENCE GENERAL PRACTICALS: The practical examinations of HSC Part-I and II Science General group annual examinations-2003 in the subjects of Computer Science and Statistics would commence on June 20 in the respective colleges of candidates.

The BIE has asked the candidates concerned to get detailed practical programme from their institutions after June 17.

In the meantime, a meeting of all internal and external examiners of the subjects in question would be held on June 16 at 3.00pm at the board office.

IT EXAMINATION: The BIE has further announced that theory exams of IT (Optional) subject for HSC Part-II Humanities of regular candidates would be held on June 19 at 10.00am at three examination centres.

According to the BIE notification, all eligible female students of Abdullah Govt College for Women and Sir Syed Government Girls College will have to appear at Government College for Women, Nazimabad, while the rest at Sir Syed Government College, Nazimabad.
