Iqbal, Hafiz strikes form

KARACHI, June 10: A superb spell of left arm leg spin by Zone-1 White skipper Iqbal Ahmad who scalped five batsmen for 26 and superb undefeated 60 by Hafiz Asad unbeaten 60 powered KCCA Zone-1 Whites past KCCA Zone-VII Blues by nine wickets in the KCCA Inter-zonal tournament played at Student Sports Ground on Monday.

In another match Zone-V Whites easily beat Zone-VI Blues by 119 runs due to Shahryar Ahmed’s 53 with four fours and deadly bowling by medium pace Zohaib Pasha took three for 11 at TMC ground. Off-spinner Fawad Khan though grabbed five for 31 but could not save his team Zone-VI Blues from defeat.
