Hot, dry weather likely


ISLAMABAD, June 10: Hot and dry weather is likely to prevail in most parts of the country during the next 24 hours.

An official of the Met department said: “There are no chances of rain during the next three to four days.” Many cities experienced a hot day on Tuesday with mercury touching 50 degree C in Nawabshah and Jacobabad, followed by Sibbi at 49 degree C.

Meanwhile, the temperature was recorded at 39 degree C in Islamabad, Rawalpindi and Lahore.—APP
