KARACHI: Haq Parasts to change face of Landhi: Sattar

By Our Staff Reporter

KARACHI, June 8: “The only crime Altaf Hussain has committed is that he is struggling to rid the 98 per cent oppressed from the two per cent oppressors in the country,” said Dr Farooq Sattar, Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s candidate in the by-election of NA 255.

Dr Farooq Sattar, who is also deputy convener of the MQM’s coordination council, was addressing a corner meeting in Landhi.

He said: “The way a soldier of Altaf Hussain has been received in the Landhi Korangi area has upset the hypocrites who want to credit the city Nazim with getting the Landhi Medical Centre from the rangers, even though it became possible only through the combined efforts of the chief minister, the governor and the rangers.”

He further said if those ‘hypocrites’ had been serious in solving the problems of people, they would have got vacated the Landhi Medical Centre, the Red Crescent Dispensary, the Korangi Stadium and other welfare institutions, and would have opened them for public during the past two years.

Dr Farooq Sattar claimed that the 28 development projects which the Haq Parast leadership had started would change the face of the area.
