KARACHI: Acquitted

By Our Staff Reporter

KARACHI, June 7: The federal anti-corruption court headed by Judge Syed Yaseen Yousuf acquitted three officials of the Rice Export Corporation of Pakistan (RECP) in a corruption case.

General manager Sikander Azam Boota and deputs GMs Wamiq Saeed and Syed Aziz Ahmed were prosecuted for stealing 10,000 bags of rice on April 24, 1998.

The judge exonerated them from the charges as the prosecution could not establish its case against them.
