PHA issues show cause
LAHORE, June 6: Punjab Hockey Association (PHA) has sent a show cause notice to the Sialkot District Hockey Association president, Ghazanfar Rasheed, for dissolving the body unconstitutionally.
PHA secretary Saleem Nazim, said on Friday that according to the constitution his body was authorised to dissolve any district body. Similarly, the Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) can dissolve PHA, he added.
He said that the PHA would send an observer to Sialkot after receiving a reply of the show cause notice.
It may be mentioned here that Ghanzafar has dissolved the district body recently.
