Casual Look captures English Oaks

EPSOM (England), June 6: Casual Look, ridden by Martin Dwyer and trained by Andrew Balding, won the English Oaks here on Friday.

Second was favourite Yesterday, ridden by Mick Kinane with Summitville in third amd Inchberry in fourth.

Casual Look, at 10-1, completed a treble on the day for jockey Dwyer who left his challenge late on the outside to beat the 10-3 favourite Yesterday by a neck, with 25-1 shot Summitville half a length away in third.

Equally overjoyed was winning owner Will Farish, the American ambassador to Britain.

Halawanda, with Johnny Murtagh in the saddle, set the early pace before Casual Look made the telling move in the last stretch.
