Hot weather persists

ISLAMABAD, June 6: Sizzling weather continued to grip all parts of the country, especially plains on Friday forcing the people to stay indoors and affecting business activities. The highest temperature was recorded in Sibi with 52 degrees centigrade.

The temperature in various cities was: Rawalpindi 44 degrees centigrade, Islamabad 43, Jacobabad 51, Sukkur 50, Nawabshah 49, Peshawar and DI Khan 47, Multan, Faisalabad and Sialkot 46 and Attock 45 degrees centigrade.—APP
