Oil prices dip

LONDON, June 3: Oil prices trickled lower on Tuesday as traders banked profits from a powerful rally a day earlier and US officials in Iraq said a resumption of the country’s crude exports was “imminent”.

The price of benchmark Brent North Sea crude oil for July delivery slipped to 27.28 dollars in late trading from 27.38 at the close of the previous session.

New York’s reference light sweet crude July contract fell by 11 cents to 30.60 dollars in early deals.—AFP
