Black day observed

QUETTA, June 2: The jewellers community observed black day here on Monday to protest the murder of a leading jeweller, Abdul Ghafoor.

All gold shops and Jewellry market remained closed on the second consecutive day, and the jewellers hoisted black flags on their shops.

The business community had observed shutters down strike on Sunday against the killing of Abdul Ghafoor in response to a strike call given by the traders organizations and the Balochistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Meanwhile, a meeting of the Jewellers Association strongly condemned the brutal murder.
