KARACHI: Equal rights demanded

KARACHI, June 2: The Awami National Party, Sindh, has demanded equal rights for Pakhtoons in Sindh, who have been relegated to third category citizens by ignoring them while recruitment in government institutions and adopting discriminatory policy in matters of water supply, unannounced load shedding, violation of fundamental rights and law and order situation.

This demand was made in a resolution adopted by its provincial executive council in a meeting, which was chaired by its provincial president Shahi Syed.
