Superb century by Sohail
ISLAMABAD, May 30: Sohail Abbas on Friday stroked a sizzling 138 as Punjab flogged PBC by 139 runs in the Super-12 Stage of the ICA-PTV League.
With 15 hits to the ropes, Sohail along with Waseem Raza (49) took the rival attack to the sword as Punjab put on a match- winning 354 for nine wickets.
A six-wicket haul by Iftikhar Ahmed did help as had it not been for his fine bowling, Punjab total would have been much higher.
In reply, Naeem Khan stroked a fine century but his efforts went in vain as PBC were dismissed for 215.
