KASUR, May 30: An 11-year-old boy was killed when a gun went off accidentally in Bonga Balochan, Phoolnagar, here on Friday.
Police said three friends Ariz, Adeel and Saqib were playing when Saqib picked up the gun lying in the room. But it accidentally went off and a bullet hit Adeel killing him on the spot.
Saqib managed to escape from the scene.
Police have registered a case and are investigating.
LOOTED: Five armed men looted a house in Chachar Illahabad on Friday.
Police said five dacoits forced their entry into the house of Tabrez Khalid and held the family hostage at gunpoint. They also beat up women and children and took away Rs450,000 in cash, 25-tola gold and valuables worth Rs50,000.
KIDNAPPED: Five people kidnapped a girl in Wan Khara, Changa Manga, on Friday.
Ghulam Abbas along with four accomplice entered the house of Iqbal and took his sister, Fauzia (18), along with them.
Changa Manga police have registered a case.
