MANSEHRA, May 30: Three people, including an unidentified young girl, died in three different incidents on Thursday in Mansehra district.

The beheaded body of an unidentified young girl was found near Oghi at a deserted place. One of her feet was also amputated.

When contacted, an official on duty at Oghi police station confirmed that the body was found in the tribal belt of Kala Dhaka by the locals, but no one lodged report about the incident.

In another incident, a 26-year-old man, Israr, committed suicide by hanging himself from a tree in the forest of Granthali near Jabouri, about 48km from here.

Sources said Israr had snatched a rope from a shepherd and hanged himself. By the time his father reached the spot, the man had expired.

It was learnt that Israr had returned a week ago from Karachi where he could not find a job.

A driver, Abdul Shakoor, son of Abdul Ghafoor, was killed and conductor Sabir, son of Farid Khan, was seriously injured when their jeep went out of control owing to high speed and plunged into a deep ravine near Bheegra Kotgali in Balakot tehsil.

Condition of the injured conductor, who was admitted to a hospital, is stated to be critical.
