KARACHI: Basic problems will be solved, says Sattar

By Our Staff Reporter

KARACHI, May 26: Dr Farooq Sattar, senior deputy convener and candidate of Muttahida Qaumi Movement in NA-255 by-election, has said that his party did not believe in ‘use of force’ but in winning over hearts of people.

He was speaking on the occasion of the inauguration of his election office in Korangi on Sunday. He said that Muttahida was determined to resolve the basic problems, like water, power, health and unemployment, faced by the oppressed people. The party would continue to strive for the oppressed people’s rights at every level, he added.

He claimed that for the past 11 years, people of Landhi, Korangi, Lines Area, Shah Faisal Colony and Malir had remained victims of criminal elements, extortionists, vandalism and terrorism. He said that development activities had been obstructed by creating law and order problems in these areas.
