Sohail wins bodybuilding contest

ISLAMABAD, May 25: Sohail Anwar on Sunday won the All-Pakistan Top 10 Bodybuilding Championship at the Islamabad Club.

The Sindh bodybuilder toppled defending champion Saeed Mughal of Punjab, who finished second in a close contest witnessed by a large number of spectators.

Both Sohail and Saeed are on the Pakistan team named by the Pakistan Amateur Bodybuilders’ Guild for this June’s World Championship in Madrid, Spain. They will be led by former Mr. World, Ahmed Sadiq, who put on a guest display on Sunday, showing off his muscles and received thunderous applause from the audience.

As many as 80 bodybuilders drawn from all over the country took part in the championship over two days following which the Top 10 were separated.

The judges who chose the Top 10 were Sikander Baluch, Safdar Mahmood and Ahmed Sadiq.
