Iesco to snap power supply of defaulters

ISLAMABAD, May 25: The Islamabad Electricity Supply Company (Iesco) has decided to disconnect power supply to government, semi-government and autonomous bodies from Monday for non-payment of utility bills.

This was stated by Iesco chief executive Brig Waseem Zafar during a meeting with directors and superintendent engineers at the power utility company’s head office on Saturday.

Brig Zafar asked the departments concerned to clear the dues latest by Monday to avoid disconnection of power supply.
