KARACHI: MBBS admissions

KARACHI, May 25: Admissions to the four medical colleges and the only public sector medical university in the province will start in August.

Immediately after the completion of the admission process, the teaching will commence from in November. According to the sources at the Sindh health department, the authorities have decided not to reduce the number of seats in the medical colleges, and for the next academic session some 1150 admissions would be given by all the four medical colleges and the Liaquat Medical University.

Admissions will be on the basis of pre-admission entry tests. Instead of the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), any private college or university, preferably the Bahria University Karachi or the College of Business Management (CBM), will be asked to conduct the tests.—PPI
