Girl commits suicide
HARIPUR, May 19: A mentally-retarded girl committed suicide by setting herself on fire in Sikandarpur village on Sunday, family sources said.
Zebun Nisa, 28, had been mentally disturbed for quite some time. On Sunday evening, she went to kitchen, doused herself with kerosene oil and set herself on fire.
She was taken to hospital with 70 per cent burn injuries where she died, sources said.
