Hospital to be upgraded

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, May 19: An amount of Rs160 million will be spent on the upgradation of the DHQ teaching hospital, D.I. Khan.

Sources said on Monday that Rs110 million would be provided by the World Bank by the end of August this year while Rs40 million would be spent under the Women Health Project.

Chief Minister Akram Khan Durrani has already announced a grant of Rs10.7 million for the hospital at a meeting with a representative delegation of southern districts.

A woman MPA, Nasreen Khattak, has also announced Rs500,000 for the health facility.
