OKARA, May 18: The district administration would perform a post-mortem on Monday (today) on the body of Mohammad Amir who was shot dead in Chak 5-4L on May 11 allegedly by the Rangers.
On the petition of one Khadim Hussain, the Lahore High Court had directed District & Sessions Judge (Okara) Ghulam Hussain Awan to supervise the post-mortem, which would be conducted by a medical board comprising District Health Officer Dr Wali Mohammad Khan, DHQ hospital Medical Superintendent Dr Riaz Chaudhry and District Surgeon Dr Khalid Hayat Bhatti. Special Judicial Magistrate Hafiz Shaukat Ali Malik will represent the administration on the occasion.
