Petrol, HSD prices reduced

KARACHI, May 16: The petrol and diesel prices have been reduced by Rs1.25 and 32 paisa respectively.

Other petroleum products prices were also reduced by 0.29 paisa to Rs1.77 per litre. The new prices will be effective from May 16-31.

Oil marketing companies have announced cut in diesel prices by 0.32 paisa per litre to Rs19.19 from Rs20.23 per litre.

The Oil Companies Advisory Committee has fixed petrol price at Rs28.88, high octane blending component (HOBC) at Rs32.40, light diesel oil (LDO) at Rs16.09 and kerosene at Rs18.53.
