Bhatt confident of success
ISLAMABAD, May 16: Talks between Pakistan and India may prove to be result-oriented in the backdrop of the prevailing global conditions, chairman of the All-Parties Hurriyat Conference Prof Abdul Ghani Bhatt said in an interview with the Voice of America (VoA).
“Keeping in view the political trends taking place at the global level, we are of the view that these talks will take us to a stage, where results could be obtained in terms of resolution of the issue, restoration of peace (besides paving way for) progress and stability,” the APHC chairman told the VoA.
Expressingthe hope that the issue of Kashmir would be focused during the talks between Pakistan and India, he said if Kashmiris “are not present” in these talks, the requirements of the justice would not be met.—APP
