ISLAMABAD, May 14: President Gen Pervez Musharraf on Wednesday said that Pakistan would deal with India on the basis of “sovereign equality.”

The president was speaking at a dinner organized for participants of the Pakistan Development Forum.

Pakistan, he said, would never compromise on its honour and dignity, adding: “Pakistan will never be coerced”.

He said Pakistan would like to have a composite dialogue with India within these three parameters on all issues including Kashmir. Earlier, he said: “There is a thaw in India-Pakistan relations. We welcome it.”—APP
