FIFA’s first tranche for PFF

By Our Sports Correspondent

LAHORE, May 14: International football governing body FIFA has sanctioned the first tranche of US$250,000 to Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) under its Financial Aid Programme (FAP) for 2003-2007.

FAP was introduced by FIFA in 1999 under which a total amount of $ one million had been given to PFF in four years  (1999-2002).

FIFA has extended the programme for another four  years.

However, each instalment will be given in two parts each of $125,000. The second part of first instalment will be released after June this year.

Meanwhile, PFF had also dispatched the audit statements  of the expenditures incurred with the FAP amount received in year 2002.
