KARACHI: Day against child labour


KARACHI, May 14: The second World Day against Child Labour will be observed on June 12, and the focus this year would be on trafficking in children.

The ILO is focussing the issue because child trafficking is one of the worst forms of child labour and an estimated 1.2 million children are trafficked each year into exploitative work in agriculture, mining, factories, armed conflicts or commercial sex work.—PPI
