Adil, Noman hit centuries
ISLAMABAD, May 11: Adil Hanif and Noman Sadiq stroked fine centuries in Diamond Club’s 108-run victory over Young Capital in the ICA-PTV League Cricket Championship on Sunday.
Thanks to Adil’s knock of 134 that was laced with 18 fours and Noman’s 109, Diamond collected 372 for three in their 50 overs at XI Star Ground.
Apart from Adil and Noman, also among the runs was Hashim Khan who hit 68.
Imran Khateeb gave Young Capital some hope by cracking 128 but his team-mates could not cope with the rival attack in which Wasim Akhtar and Yasin Bari claimed three wickets each with Sajid Durrani taking two. Their good efforts helped them dismiss their opponents for 264.
