KARACHI: No compromise on Sindh’s interests: Unar

KARACHI, May 10: Ghulam Rasool Unar, Adviser to the Chief Minister on Political Affairs, has categorically stated that the elected government will never compromise on the interests of Sindh.

“No decision against the interests of Sindh will be accepted at any cost. No matter we remain in power or not,” he declared while talking to newsmen at his office on Saturday.

“We are clear on all the issues, Kalabagh dam, Thal canal, etc.,” he said reminding that a unanimous resolution had already been passed in this respect by the provincial assembly.

About rumours about change of government and Imtiaz Shaikh’s becoming chief minister, Mr Unar said, “Imtiaz Shaikh would never become the chief minister.”—PPI
