LHC suspends order


ISLAMABAD, May 8: The Lahore High Court has suspended the order whereby former Judge of the LHC Justice (Retd.) Amir Alam was appointed Arbitrator regarding the election matters of the Islamabad Cricket Association (ICA) headed by Mohammad Ishaq Bhatti.

The order was passed by Justice Tanvir Bashir Ansari while hearing the preliminary arguments of Dr. Babar Awan, counsel for the ICA, in a constitutional petition filed against unilateral order of arbitration.The court issued notices to all the concerned parties.—APP
