Pakistan Army retain title

LAHORE, May 5: Defending champions Army defeated Wapda 8-7 to win the 12th national baseball championship at the Iqbal Parks Sports Complex on Monday.

For Army, Kamran Mehboob hit three home run and played a key role for the win. Besides him, Riaz Khan added two runs while Zafar Iqbal, Sarfraz Ahmad and Abdur Rehman added a run each.

Wapda scored seven runs. Muhammad Asif and Asghar Siddique scored two runs each. Nasir Butt, Basit Murtaza and Muhammad Nisar scored a run each.
