Aga Khan leaves Capital


ISLAMABAD, May 4: The spiritual leader of the Ismaili community, Prince Karim Aga Khan, Sunday left Islamabad after paying three-day official visit to Pakistan.

Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Northern Areas, Aftab Ahmad Khan Sherpao, who is also minister-in-waiting, saw off the distinguished guest at the Chaklala airbase.

During his stay the Aga Khan called on President Gen Pervez Musharraf, Prime Minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali, Senate chairman Mohammadmian Soomro, ministers of finance, privatization and education besides meeting with staff of Aga Khan Development Network in Pakistan.

They lauded the development projects launched by AKDN institutions for socio-economic development of the people, especially in Northern Areas.
