SHEIKHUPURA, May 4: A man was shot dead while two others sustained serious bullet injuries on Sunday in Sheroki village near Khanqah Dogran.
Ghulam Rasool was an eyewitness in a criminal case against Liaquat of the same locality.
On Sunday, Liaquat along with his six accomplices went to Rasool’s house to refrain him from appearing in court. On his refusal, they fell into a rage and opened indiscriminate fire, killing Rasool instantly and injuring two others, including a woman guest.
Khanqah Dogran police have registered the case.
DIES: A local trader, Maqbool, died after taking poisonous food in the main bazaar here on Sunday.
Police are going into the matter.
