Govt asked to regularize ad hoc lecturers


RAWALPINDI, May 4: The Punjab Professors and Lecturers Association, Rawalpindi region, president, Mohammad Ilyas, has asked the government to give permanent status to lecturers who are working on contract basis.

In a press release on Sunday, Mr Ilyas said the terms of their employment were rigorous enough to make them feel that they were slaves instead of being employees.—Our Reporter
